REMEMBRANCE DAY

Always remember

The many brave men,

Who lost their young lives

In a war, way back when.

They fought for our country,

Our freedom and pride.

Because of these soldiers

We have better lives.

Many returned

And many were slain.

In Flander's Field,

Fallen heroes remain.

As a symbol of honor

For their journey to heaven.

A poppy is worn

On November eleven.

We see sadness and pride

In each living Vet.

As their numbers get fewer,

"Lest We Forget"
